Changers Over Champs

If I’m being honest I desire recognition. Like for real. One of my primary love languages is words of affirmation. This means in order for me to receive love from others it’s best when they tell me how great I am. On the surface this can be innocent but unchecked it can taint any good deed I do. I need accountability so I go after good things like salvation or justice for others without needing people to praise me.

Ever since man’s fall, we’ve existed in a broken world in need of restoration. There are men and women in need of that restoration but it can’t happen if we are more concerned with our own praise.

This collection is a reminder to me, hopefully you as well, to keep the main thing the main thing and one day we will get the ultimate affirmation from God when He says, “Well done my good a faithful servant.”
